I received the Timeless TRH8 Titanium Handle a couple of days ago and have had one shave with it. I teamed it with my WRH2 1.45SB and my initial impressions are these: Since handles are very much an INDIVIDUAL thing, IF you prefer a handle that is uniform in diameter (same) like a UFO TiTan or so many other handles (Pretty much MY preference, although I do like some with a slightly varying taper in the diameter), you might not like this handle.
It LOOKS very cool, but the diameter varies quite a lot, going from 13.6mm at the top of the knurling to 10.82mm in the middle. Also, the cutout above the base (designed for your pinkie) has NO knurling and does not offer much grip. At 90.1mm length and 43 grams and great looks, one could eventually learn to like, even love it, BUT it is not a "love at first use" item for ME. The very reasonable $60/shipped price makes the Handle a very attractive offering.
It also fits perfectly in the Timeless Titanium 14mm stand and is an additional $50 item. Both Stand and handle are available in a Polished or Matte finish.

What I admire about this handle is that it’s completely unique. No mistaking it for another. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen knurling like that before.

How’s the grip?

I believe the handle is milled not knurled the difference was explained by a gentleman on another forum
Knurling does not remove material from the workpiece ,
but rather displaces material.
This means that the diameter of a knurled rod will be larger than the initial diameter the rod had before knurling. So knurling will
dimensionally alter the workpiece. And of course,it is
a far easier and quicker way to
produce a grip pattern than milling the same pattern.

Milling a grip pattern will not
alter the diameter of the workpiece,
while has higher precision
and lower tolerances ,
than knurling.
But it is more time ,tool and energy consuming by far versus
knurling.
I find it to have excellent grip and love the uniqueness of it.

I wonder how the grip pattern compares to the Rex Ambassador? Of all the razors I have used to date, that has the best, deepest cut knurling I have seen (if knurling is in fact the correct term, as Shavemd points out).

Not as deep a grip as the Rex, nothing I have used beets the Rex for grip.

While I agree with the statement “ Since handles are very much an INDIVIDUAL thing “ ,
there’s a thing that has to be noted.

Myself I prefer handles with approx. 13 mm
diameter and approx. 90 mm length.
Still ,I have a pretty “ steep “ jawline.
Meaning that heading down from my cheek,
the razor handle has to be tilted almost 90 degrees towards my face/neck ,when passing from my jawline to the neck area.

So ,no matter my personal favourites
(since I only use Razorock handles,
those would be Super Knurl ,Bamboo and Bulldog  ),lately I’ve found that the agility of my Game Changers and Lupos is greatly increased when I use shorter handles (like the HD ) ,while shaving this particular area ( from lower cheek to jawline and from jawline to upper part of my neck ).

Furthermore ,a shorter handle allows me
to use the maximum steep angle of a razor.
Quite useful for shaving my “low angle emerging” /flat growing stubble of my neck area.

But I’ve also discovered that the
“pinkie cut out “ on a short handle is
more or less useless.I get far better
and more comfortable grip when
a short handle has a larger diameter
base than it’s main stem diameter
(like the RR HD has ).

Just my 2 cents.

I really like the new handle, it makes my lupo 95sb more maneuverable, and I got better shave.

I'll have to go to the timeless website to check out the pinky part you're talking about.
So it's like a good handle to give a whirl though.

Has anybody tried this in a Wolfman stand, the small round one?

Razorock Hawk A with a Timeess Crown Ti handle inserted into the new Razorock 15 mm stand made from 316 stainless steel.  The fit is perfect but tight.
