I would say that every dollar you save now is another dollar you can spend on something else later Wink

GroomingDept Bronze will go a beautiful brown color, check out the antique bronze Wolfman, it's the same bronze Timeless uses and that's the color it should go. I just wish it has a grippier handle and that Timeless would put a drain hole in the bottom on their stands.

It will. Primarily where you touch it. However, wiping it dry after use seems to keep patina at bay.

The oxidation process can be expedited chemically, too.

The OC version of this Razor is really tempting to me, and it seems to be at a really good price point for what it is. 85mm is my sweet spot as far as the Handle is concerned, just wish it was a design that would have more grip like their Barber Pole Handle. Would love it if Timeless offered their original.95 OC design in Bronze! Looking forward to the reviews on the new OC when people start getting them in hand.

OC looks good overall... just wish the baseplate wasn’t so chunky looking. Looks very tall and the part of the comb that touches the face very angular. I wonder how comfortable it is.

Well I ended up going with the baseplate, travel bowl, and the leather razor travel case that I’ve had my eye on for months.

Your restraint is to be commended!

First shave tonight with the new bronze OC. First it is a big jump from the SB, it is extremely efficient, nearly Charcoal Goods Level 3 efficient. For me it was not quite as smooth as the .95 OC but I definitely need a few more shaves with it to be sure. I am glad I got the new baseplate as I rarely used my bronze with the SB base but now I see myself using the OC on a more regular basis. Will update once I have a few more shaves in.

Thanks for the feedback I just got mine and I will use it tomorrow I didn't get the SB bronze because people said it was two mild and I have a .95 titanium and stainless steel and really love those 2
