Shave 2 on the blade was gloriously smooth.  So smooth I forgot to post.  Finished number three with it today with no degradation noted.  Smooth and sharp.  My goodness I'm liking them.  As for hand stropping and corking I don't bother with either (except I do cork single edge gem types).  They  (DE) smooth out fast enough for me.

4th morning with the blade and it is still smoking sharp. Couple of weepers under my chin, and no it wasn't technique.  It was a two pass shave with not enough prep.  Generally sharper blades will cause weepers for me when I do that, thus I'm thinkin ng this still is very sharp.  No tugging and alum (weepers) didn't offer much feedback as sting was limited only to the weepers.  [Image: 0Hz8g7o.jpg]

Roughing it for a few days while traveling with my synthetic WW brush, a 24kt Blackbird OC, and a new etched Lab Blue sans stropping. Only the second blade, but it definitely seems smoother on the first shave, so if they soaked in solution to remove the initial discomfort, I'm a fan.[Image: a0dd7167f73a1a1c025873592deb8ce5.jpg]

At approx. the 7th shave almost all blades lay down & "die" for me.

I usually get three from feather and 4 to 5 with all others.  Rubie is odd that it starts good but dies quickly too.  Others sure don't see that.  Thus these personnas are surprising me.

Sixth shave on this Personna Lab Blue, plenty sharp with lots of life left.

9th and perhaps I felt degedation today. Still close but it seems this blade will act like the first one.  Never really get tuggy but start to leave a bit more stubble.  I'll give it a go again tomorrow and see what I think.
