I saw that on the SOTD Freddy and good to hear. I will certainly share some thoughts on using. Sound like good, solid blades.

Hi Freddy, I got a week out of my first Viking's Sword - I changed only because I thought it couldn't possibly still be sharp rather than actually feeling that it wasn't sharp. Next time I'll let it run out until the blade tells me its done. I really like them, I just got my order of 40 in the mail from Jason at Tryablade today.

Marko, if I get a week of good shaves out of these, and a week is the norm for my favorite blades, then I just may have to order a couple of tucks. Smile

I get 4-5 days out of a Viking Sword blade. Smooth, no irritation, and a comfortable, close shave. These are good blades!

Freddy, I just ordered 100 Viking's Swords from this site

http://liorfe.com/products/israeli-perso...=706889353

They're $0.17/blade and shipping is free from Israel which is where the blades are made. Try a blade is a good option but they're $0.40/blade +$2.00 shipping. I think try a blade is good if you want to try a whole bunch of different blades in small quantity but if you want to go in for the 100 lot there are cheaper options. We'll see how long the package takes to arrive.

Marko, because I enjoy a variety of blades, a couple of tucks will last me a long time so I am quite happy ordering locally. Mind you, seventeen cents a blade is a darn good price.

Do you know why they don't sell Personna Reds? That just seems really weird to me.

Hi Glenn, that's odd isn't it. I went to the site to confirm. The site seems to carry a fairly limited line so maybe they cut it back to the top sellers?

I find it odd as well. On the other hand, I have ordered from Tierra Santa before and found the service to be excellent with fair pricing and quick shipping!

That is a very good question. My guess is that they are a small business just starting up, and likely to expand their product lines as they grow. Many of the larger online wetshaving retailers started out the same way.
