Not yet, thanks for the suggestion, I'll put mine in the queue.

Biding my time until the Hawk and Bunny arrive, until they do the General/Pro Super (and E2/Feather) for the beard and Injectomatic/Plus Platinum for the head shave are the tools to beat in terms of smoothness and efficiency. I wouldn't kick the 1914 out of bed but two passes with the General does the trick with this blade, and the PAL just feels right from the moment it touches my head.

I'm going to test a number of different blades in the Rocnel, not for any particular reason, just cause. Rocnel Blade Trials have begun, and the ASCO was not bad, but nothing to write home about.

The Hawk. Well damn that's a great shaver. I did one superb pass with the Bunny last night (cuz I couldn't wait), two passes this morning with the Hawk/Pro, followed by a head shave exclusively with the Hawk. While the Hawk performed beautifully on the light beard it really shone on the head shave, delivering by far the closest I've had, taking care of tough spots heretofore only smoothed out with lots of buffing with the General or Injectomatic. A couple nicks but I'm sure that was me, a little irritation but not anything to worry about. Bunny tomorrow.

I missed on the Hawk this time, Man they went quick. I didnt even get an email saying they were in, man that must have been a crazy shipment of Hawks flying out IB. I'll be keeping an eye out for the next batch, hopefully next week. I'd been checking throughout the day for the last Month. Stuck in a training class for work and realized during lunch that they were already gone after checking while on teh Morning break. Still not a bad deal, it was Fly away training in Colorado Springs, Few of us drove a few minutes to Garden of the Gods, and drove up Pikes Peak. What a fantastic time, part's absolutely horrifying, yet majestic and awe inspiring.

Took the MMOC and my NEW SC. The PTFE blade finally hit the end of the road. Probably would have been good at 12 or 13. Still I really wanted to see how far I can go on 1 blade. It lasted 2xs more than I've been using them. I'll never get close to that with a DE. Still I just wanted to test it out. I'll probably never get close to that again, but I will go more than the typical 6 shaves I had used to go.

Very nice to hear it shaves well, I think I have only read of one negative report so far. But I haven't been looking into it too much. I'm glad such an inexpensive razor is doing so well. Thanks for the feedback on it. I'm not planning on picking one up, but all the positive reviews are sparking my curiosity.

I've already seen a, couple available for sale from folks who didn't like the Hawk for whatever reason so YMMV. Made a good first impression here.

Used the Rocnel SE today. While not a typical SE, it always gives excellent shaves.

Henckels Rapide | Le Coq blade
Crown King Scuttle
Satin Tip The Purest
RazoRock XXX
Homemade Tangerine AS & Nivea Sensitive ASB

Good Morning everyone! Last time I shaved with this blade I decided that I wanted to get it a little sharper. So I gave it 60 laps on the 1-micron film and then gave it 20 laps on the CrOx and IrOx and then 60 laps on the leather. It was definitely sharper than last time but still not quite as sharp as I want it. I completed 3 passes and ended with a DFS. I finished off with some of my homemade tangerine AS and Nivea Sensitive ASB. Have a great day!
