Congrats! The Schick E2 is a great shaver!

What blades are you using?

Chinese Schicks in there right now. Have some personna's too in different razors.

Also new to injectors, and really enjoying them. Got this G1 a little while ago, and was wondering if you experienced injector users have an opinion of the Personna blades vs the Chinese-made Schick-branded blades.

Michael P , if I had to use strictly currently produced injector blades, I would probably prefer the Chinese made Schick blades. The current Personna/Ted Pella blades work OK for me, but I think the Chinese Schicks are a bit sharper. My favorite injector blades are actually the vintage/NOS injector blades from Personna, Schick, and Gillette. Many of the NOS injector blades seem to be better all around to me. I have a nice little cache of these blades that I use when I reach for my injector razors. The current production Personna and Schick blades will work just fine, though. One just has to try them out and see how they perform. Some folks find certain blades to work better in different injector razors, similar to how some view DE blades and razors.

Another thing to try if you don't mind modifying blades a little is to try cut down Feather AC type blades in the injector razors. YMMV!(and all that)

Thank you, Rob, that was exactly my next question-would a cut-down Feather AC work?

I ask because I really like that blade in my Cobras, Mongoose, and ATT SE. I'm a Feather fan, and use the Feather Platinum exclusively in my DEs and the FHS in the OneBlade.  I've managed to get some NOS Personna Super Platinums, some regular Personnas , and some Chinese-made Schicks to experiment with, but I'll need some more shaves under my belt to assess.

But I'm curious about the use of a Feather, so any input or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Feathers work great IF you can insert the trimmed blade into a magazine or directly into the razor without damaging the edge, which can be tricky. I'm very satisfied using an AC Pro in my E2 where you don't have those issues.

I love the Chicks, and only managed 1 decent shave with the personna. Too rough and not sharp enough for me either

The Chicks are also much better for me than the Personnas. I have not tried any NOS blades but definitely will look for some in the future based on Rob's input.
