I bought those blades I mentioned a few pages back.  Shaved only once with one.  Wow it was horrible, felt like it was pulling my whiskers out.  I could only go WTG, tried XTG after doing a second WTG pass--that was not happening.  I will try another blade just to see if I just got a bade one.  If no better they will be regulated to my tool box.

There were no markings on the blade spine to tell me anything.  On the back of the package it did say Made in Korea.  Possibly a Dorco blade???

Awhile back ( a year, 2?) a mess of Dorco SE blades first made it into the country, came to our attention over on TOST and were being sold as shaving blades. They were scraper blades and no one that I know of ever got a good shave from one. They could still be coming into the country, but they belong in the hardware store and not in shaving goods.

Here is the back of the package (was in the shaving section of the grocery store)

If they're made in SK they are Dorcos and are hardware store blades. Take them back and educate management/corporate.

160 injector blades for $10.  This guy doesn't ship to Canada so I'm SOL.

Anyone want to split and send half to me? Smile

The PAL blades seem to have a poor reputation on the forums. While I didn't try those specific PAL blades, I did try one PAL blade a while back and it didn't agree with me at all. YMMV! Cool

FWIW, I used the ER '24 for the entire month and retired one blade that had clearly been spent by the 25th shave and began a new SE blade (GEM SS ptfe). I also used Frostbite for every shave, both the soap and splash. I'm getting down to the bottom of the tub and I'm anxious to test the new batch of Frostbite soap (it's not shipping yet).

:-) It wasn't at all difficult . It's been my fav' SE razor for a few years now. My hand just naturally grabs for it for most shaves.

I am pretty new to the injector world, but am becoming a rabid fan. Tonight's shave was with my new E2. This one is going to the Razor Hall of Fame.
