I admit I am not sure at all about the name but the razor does look interesting.

It does look better than the Occam's NANO which I own and enjoy.  Based on my experience with the NANO I decided to take a chance on the preorder.

Looks interesting. I have a few points rewards in my account over at Classic. Just might take a chance on this...

That looks a lot like the Asylum from BullGoose Shaving.

I agree it does look a lot like the Asylum. I had $10 in reward points at Classic, so I at $65 delivered for the pre order I decided to give it a go.

I have not had very good luck with the vendor. Item did not arrive and they told me to contact the USPS myself to sort it out. I also ordered a king cobra and the quality was very bad, the blade holder would not close. They were not willing to do anything to remedy it so I got Paypal involved and then I got my money back. Worst customer service ever! I'm not sure how they stay in business.

Sorry to hear that. It's a shame that your particular situations were handled in that manner. As some have stated here and in other forums, their experiences with Classic have been, let's just say less than positive.

I can say personally that in my dealings with CS I've had nothing but prompt and courteous service. I haven't had an issue with defective or incorrect products in my handful of purchases with them. Hopefully, it will continue to stay that way....

You guys are quite the enablers... I just ordered one too. I tried to get more information about it but was unable to yet. If you zoom in on the photos, I do believe that it is a 3 piece razor that fits together similar to the Asylum Rx. I really like the design of the handle too. I'm eager to see what it'll look like with the finalized brushed finish. $63 after my rewards is a small investment to try it out. Now the wait continues.
