If it does, probably not my much. Many bloom their soaps with success for the life of the soap. So it's probably a non-issue. I personally don't find it necessary with most softer artisan soaps I own, but I'll let a few drops of water soften up a hard puck or triple milled soap for a minute or two before loading if I'm using a synthetic or a really soft brush. To me - blooming only contributes to ease of loading. So Tabac, MWF, Fine - they all get the blooming treatment.
