I got to thinking when looking through my soaps today. I have a few that are really great, but for some reason, never get used.
I finished my first stick of Palmolive in 2014, and loved it. Great scent, performance and value. Bought another in 2015, but still have not opened the box.
Bought two sticks of Irish Moos in 2013. Proclaimed for all the world to hear it was my favorite soap. Loved everything about it and finished the first stick in 2014. Second stick sits unopened for 2+ years.
After much hype, I succumbed and purchased La Savonniere du Moulin at the beginning of last year. Spent the time to grate that really hard soap into a nice metal bowl. The scent is lovely. A nice clean soapy barbershop scent, kind of like one of my first loves in shaving - Musgo Real classic. Used it for 5 days straight and was really impressed with the lather. Absolute top tier. Haven't used it since.
I'm pretty good at spreading attention around the den, and have no problem finishing products. But there seem to be a few that slip through the cracks for no good reason.
Anyone have a similar experience? Which great soaps get no attention in your den?
