This the perfect item to give/sell a newcomer who is interested in this hobby. As well, it eliminates any fears the germaphobes have regarding the usage of a vintage razor. Although made of some form of "pot" metal it is solid. I used it today again with a new 7 O'Clock SS blade for an excellent DFS.
