anyone else get a thank you note from soap commander with their order?  Coincidentally, after a year of seeing so much reference to fountain pens on various shaving forums and thanks to members here,  I ordered from Goulet Pen Company and they also had a hand written thank you with my order. Kuddos to both these companies, my dollars will be flowing their way.

I always appreciate that little touch. The Goulet Pen Company and many soap artisans appreciate their customers and, as a result, that appreciation is returned.

I appreciate a nice hand written thank you. I have had several artisans and vendors just simply hand write thank you on the invoice receipt. It doesn't take much time for them to do it, but the thought really makes me feel appreciated as a customer. That feeling also raises the chances that I will repeat as a customer.

It really helps when the artisan is into fountain pens too. I think both Darren from Soap Command and Chris from Catie's Bubbles use fountain pens. Of course, if you stop getting something handwritten from the Goulet Pen Co, then something catastrophic has happened. Big Grin

I hand write "Thank you for your order!" with each of my orders. Granted it's not always legible, but it is quite sincere. Some nights it's time-consuming, but it's time well spent. A few customers have sent feedback that they appreciated the note. It's always nice to get those emails.

I agree with the others, a handwritten note is a nice touch.

The hand-written notes come with every order I've placed from Soap Commander. And not only are they a generic "thank you", they are actually personalized. It has really impressed me about their company, on top of the great products they offer.

This is one that they included with a surprise anniversary present my wife schemed with Carrie to put together.

Yes, that certainly helps. Plus, it's an excuse to use my fancy pens and inks when I don't have letters to write.

This was actually back at the beginning of May, but thank you.  Unfortunately the scent burned my face so it didn't work out, but definitely one of those "it's the thought that counts" type of deals.  Darren and Carrie took care of us though Wink
