Just received my Tatara Razor with both Standard Bar and Open Comb plates. 1st of all this is one of the nicest looking razors, modern, clean looking design. As far as the shave goes for me it is perfect. Not too mild not too aggressive, smooth with either plate and very efficient. As efficient as a Blackbird and as smooth as a Timeless. I own almost every high end razor and this is one my favorites. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!![Image: 80ce9bf13a71f38aecf7acf4242ac393.jpg][Image: cdda68e45dccd80315ae9a90562b92b4.jpg][Image: aa8c97f7b5f2e872f3681c5ee55a5a93.jpg]

Wonderful looking razor! Congrats on your acquisition. Is this all SS construction?

The standard bar. I feel its smoother on my face yet still feel the blade and very efficient

@raw fox thanks for the write up. I purchased one yesterday. Noticed as of today they are sold out until February. Looking forward to using it.

Any more users? Thoughts???
I like the looks but really don't need yet another razor unless it's exceptional. Cost in USD with one plate and stand is around $230.

I really enjoy this razor. I have the SB and I just ordered the OC. The SB is a notch below the Blackbird in terms of efficiency but it provides a FAR smoother shave. I am excited to use the OC.

I have never seen a razor that holds the blade more rigidly. The top cap comes all the way out to the baseplate laterally and then the hand "engages" the plate. I am fairly picky and this is a keeper.

Mark, out of curiosity, does this razor hold the blade more rigidly than the Wolfman razors?
