I too got the preorder notice, and the razor looks amazing. They definitely started with a clean sheet of paper when designing this. I noticed that the plate or cap did not raise or lower, but the guards protruded outward or inward to get the adjustment. It looks very well designed and great looking. Based on their reputation, I believe it to be well made, and the price is worth it. Unfortunately, for now, the price of two car payments would only make the repo man drool as he waits for a request from my bank for late payment.

I will wait for slantman to put his up on BST.  Winking

The concept of adjustment using the movement of the guard separate from cap and plate goes back at least 100 years in the SE world. But I can't think of a precedent DE patent.

Guys, c'mon, it's not a single edge razor, why would they make that?[Image: 8c3ee016201df12c0e7c72829209027e.jpg]

L'Essor Le Supreme as someone has already pointed out. I don't know if it was patented?

It was patented as the Hol'Pif but I haven't seen the patent.
