That stinks Mike, hopefully the soap isn't hurt, sorry to hear that.
Probably a visit with the box and story to a supervisor would help for the future.

That really bites Mike, and is absolutely unacceptable.

I don't buy much from Canada. In fact, I think the only company I've bought from is Karve. They use DHL, with tracking. Whoever this is, and however it is set up, it's not working.

Does T&S sell through any US Vendors? I know they lose a lot of profit that way, but the alternative I'm seeing today is customers getting the shaft.

Edit: Actually, I do buy MacDuff's... But only through US Suppliers (Razor Company, etc). I'm going to stick to that, sounds safer.

I live and Canada and frequently buy from both US and Canadian companies. No issues for Can Post/USPS. Seems like it all depends on your delivery person that day.

Thanks Keith.  I took some photos, but TBH I expect it would be too much time and aggravation.  I would first have to find out who was contracted for that delivery, and carriers don't necessarily make feedback or redress efficient and easy.  Amazon delivery is an exception, at least in my neck of the woods.  For every delivery made by an Amazon driver, the Order-Delivered email allows you leave a compliment or complaint.  Life goes on.  This is a 1st world problem, and I wish Ryan the best of the best.

I have no bone to pick with Canada Post, unless maybe - just maybe - if Canada Post chose the lowest bidding US affiliate without attention to quality.  (I don't know how the US handoff is managed.)  We have had issues with the USPS, and our specific route was written up in the local paper for all the complaints they got.  We have gotten our misdelivered mail brought to us by kind strangers who live two miles away, and we have gotten other people's mail.  Some of this can be explained by people not having proper training, especially replacements pressed into service during COVID.  Some can be explained by machines, like sorting and bundling machines, not being maintained by sick technicians, and so on.

Hey Mike - really sorry to hear about this. As far as I know, Canada Post hands it over to USPS so if it was delivered via someone else, then it's likely USPS is using an affiliate. We have shipped thousands of packages to USA from Canada, and I will say stories like this are very rare - even without tracking 99%+ of packages arrive without issue. Don't lose faith! How is the condition? Drop me an email and if there is any damage or anything we'll just send replacements.

We offer DHL Express as well which arrives to the USA usually next business day - it's crazy fast. It's more expensive, but it's what we use for our free shipping to USA at $95.

Nobody is getting the shaft here. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it, no questions asked.

It would be hard to find a more consummate gentleman than yourself Ryan, and I know you would make everything right.  However, the jars have now had a day to come to room temperature, it looks like that may not be necessary.  For reasons I don't understand, the bumps on the side labels are gone, which makes no sense to me, but but that's the way it is.  The Morocco is firm but not hard, very much like other T+S soaps in consistency, and the scent off the puck is five star.  The Baygere is a little softer, but still looks okay, and the scent is also five star - delightfully intriguing.  After a few shaves with each, I will let you know if anything seems amiss, but I am inclined to doubt that.  --  Thanks though for the reassurance.

Just wanted to say I'm sorry Ryan. It wasn't meant to be directed at you, but I can see now how it reads. My apologies. I was (and still am) shocked by whoever the company was that delivered this.

I'm happy to hear you back your products as you do. Also happy to hear you use that speedy DHL delivery. I was truly shocked at how quickly it arrived.

Hey no problem! It's all good - customers need to make sure us wet shaving companies stay honest and uphold integrity. Cheers.
