My Classic Two products have arrived. It's a very pleasant scent. Thanks Ryan @ Tallow + Steel for bringing these original offerings back!!

Thanks guys! I appreciate the support. Enjoy them. That brush is nice.

It would be great if we could sniff before purchase. It's too bad it isn't possible to include a scratch & sniff card or the like with all of an artisan's scents so we could make more informed decisions. A straight rose or grapefruit gives us an idea of what to expect, the intriguing and complex scents coming out now, not so much.(10-08-2016, 04:20 PM)hawns Wrote: Awesome to hear - Trial sizes available at MenEssentials.I like either of those ideas, but MenEssentials appears to be MIA. (also, all of the vendors mentioned earlier in this thread, for several pages)
For instance, I've got a "Sandalwood" soap (not an uncommon scent) in my top 5 favourite soaps and aftershaves list, but I've also bought some allegedly sandalwood-scented soap that I had to give away, because I disliked the scent so much.
A sampler kit of 10 g of each soap or 10 ml of each aftershave would be most useful.
I hear you on the samples. The retailers used to handle this for us, which was great because sample sizes are very labour intensive for little profit. We have since stopped wholesaling and sell directly from our website only. We would like to be able to offer samples, but as this is not my full time gig, we are going to have to continue offering full products only.

Thanks guys! I’m happy that you’re enjoying them. Grog is the only one of the four originals left to bring-back, but we will probably wait until late next year for that since we just did Indian Bay.
For the last few releases (except Kyoto because we had limited materials) we have started making more batches, so they will be around for a while and not sell out the first day. I think that has been working well.
I have a full day ahead of me working on the next two additions to our core line, as our province has just imposed more restrictions. These next two scents are a little bit ambitious, so I hope we can pull them off. What’s everyone up to this weekend?
Cheers

Dark Three! Oh boy. I think it will be a long time until Dark returns. So many more to bring back!
As for the Sasquatch (good job on the spelling BTW) - that one was probably the most fun we’ve had on a release. We will bring that one back for sure at some point. Do you have each of these right now?

Hey Matt! I’m glad you like it. It will probably be a few years until we bring that one back. But we will definitely do more collabs with Karve. Maybe something like, Evening Hot Cocoa in the Canadian Wilderness.
