Yesterday I remembered my Tabac stick and used it on 3 days' growth. I used a lot since I tend to under load my brushes, and got a truly excellent shave. Just a shout out to those who have thought about trying it, but kept putting it off.
ps I used a Merkur 38C and Astra Platinum, a super blade that has been growing in my esteem.
