SV – Manna Di Sicilia Soap Review
It’s my first time using this soap and it’s so good I have to review it. It’s a hard puck and comes in a copper tin. The soap is triples milled, so I bloomed it for about 5 minutes. This soap is the beta 4.3 limited edition release.
Scent: Manna Di Sicilia - Lightly scented with Top notes of Orange, Bergamot and Sage. Mid notes of Tobacco flower, rose, cloves and hydrangea and Base notes of Cedar wood, Amber and sweet patchouli. A very warm masculine scent. It’s a lasting scent as well.
Lather: I loaded my brush for about 20 seconds rarely dipping the tips of my brush into hot water to get the lather I wanted (since I used a synthetic). I bowl lathered in a Georgetown Scuttle and the lather was really rich, dense, and creamy in no time at all. The scent really “blossomed” as I lathered and shaved. Enough for 3 passes and touch up, and more. You do not need a lot of water. Drops only to suit your taste.
Cushion: Excellent cushion for a very comfortable shave. Excellent razor glide.
Slickness: Great slickness for a very smooth shave. Rinses easily and you can feel the slickness as you rinse.
Face Feel: Very smooth as you lathered. Great feel after rinsing. Got a BBS
Overall, an excellent soap that that is best suited anytime of the year. Loved it.
This is undoubtedly one of of the best soaps I have used. It is a winner and I recommend it highly.
