My first impression of the soap is that it is very slick and performs well. I am not, however, a fan of the size of the tub which comes practically filled to the brim with 5.5 oz. of soap. I have a decided preference for a bigger tub such that there is more room to lather. I did cut a little bit of the soap off the top to smear around my scuttle and did also take some soap directly from the tub with my brush. Lather creation was no problem whatsoever.
The scent reminds me of Lemon Pledge. Looking at the list of ingredients there is nothing artificial to create that smell however. In fact there is nothing artificial in this soap at all which is a very positive factor for me.
The balm is a bit heavy and, for me, should be used more sparingly than I did this go-round. This is actually my second time using this balm and I should have known better. This balm is going to last for a while given the large amount in the tub.
