Stirling Soap 316 Stainless Steel Razor

I noticed the ring starting to form from the handle, I didn’t ever notice scratches and all I did was wipe it down with my hand towel. I can’t imagine it getting scratched from that.

Hi all, does anyone know when the base plate of the pass around razors got all these scratches? LOOT received it today in this condition...

I just cleaned it with scrubbing bubbles and the same toothbrush that touches my mirror Ti Wolfman(s) and snapped that pic before I used it. That photo is at the perfect angle, in the perfect light. I've just gotten good at being anal on razor finishes because I BST Wolfies from time to time here.

The picture makes it look worse (like it's been hit with a grinder) than it really is. You gotta be looking. A casual glance and you may not see it.

This is why I've not participated before and won't again. Ha. My dumb luck.

I was the last one to have it and I had for a month. I honestly don’t think I scratched it, but if it is determined that I’m at fault I will do what I need to to make it right.

That leaves me out of all these pass arounds. I have the 17-4 inbound. I've asked Dan for the address for the next guy. I'll pass it on without opening it.

As for this Stirling, I think george1906 Big G is after me, as we are friends, I'll get his address and forward the razors without using either again.

The pass around can continue, and when it's done, I'll buy the both of them from ezlovan Rod for full MSRP, no matter the condition they come back to me. Ann is a nice ride and I'm sure the other plate is too.

I hate this went public and caused some issues. I got it covered tho. No worries men. Carry on. If that's possible at this point.

I give you credit for stepping up and making the offer but, that’s not the way this should go down. Unfortunately, I don’t know of an easy or amicable solution to this dilemma. You did nothing wrong in making it known maybe a heads up to the host of the pass around but, wouldn’t change much if anything.

I give you mad props on your effort to take the weight. That’s a solid in my book.....

If you look at the picture of Ann Coulter which I snapped on March 12th (the night she and her partner arrived) in post #285, it does appear that a ring had already formed from the handle. But none of those other marks appear to be present. For the 3 days I had it, I babied it like my own. That’s about all I can offer. My word is my bond.

All laser marks colored off. My guess, before sending to the next member, cleaning with a thick brush might cause this.
And the member might not recognize that he had scratched the razor plate.
Even the razor doesn't look cosmetically as good as before, I think we can still continue the pass-around.
