The handle looks longer though. I think the length will help in that area. The grip might be a little weird, but you should find solid purchase.

I'll definitely be curious in how the reviews go. I'm not an OC guy, so I don't have a stake in this race. Still, it seems interesting and a little different from so much else that has come out.

With the exception of FOCS, open comb does not agree with me. But wow, this looks really cool. Polished brass, Boston, 19th C nautical schooner vibes, reasonable price for entry. . . man this is hard to resist. Putting this on the "simmer for 48 hours" wish list.

2000 razor sounds like quite a few but I have no idea how many anybody makes except for when bullgoose sells some

2000 is quite high. 
CharcoalGoods just reached 2000, after many years. 
I got Rex 1.5 - 2 years after the release date, it was just under 2000.

I believe like Timeless they are an inhouse manufacturer. They make almost everything out of brass including brass dice. Do you feel lucky.
