There has been some active debate regarding substantial and minor differences in shave characteristics between Stainless Steel and Titanium safety razors.
It is hoped those familiar will comment in detail and where possible attempt to explain the etiology of the differences they perceive.
My predisposition based on a very few one off experiences is that it is partly due to weight differences (sometimes exaggerated as weight balance changes) and hypoallergenic properties of Ti alloys vis a vis those comprising Stainless Steel.
Metallugists, engineers, physicians and owners of identical razors in both SS and Ti probably are most qualified to address this. Know Matt at Timeless has both experience and thoughts on the subject. Andrew no doubt has something to state also....
