Great scent and performance as usual. I decided to use a Feather with the R5 plate today to see if I can get as close as the Vision but with the smoothness of the Rockwell. Mission partially accomplished - my cheeks feel amazing, but my neck is a little tender.

Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Rockwell 6s R5
Blade: Feather
Brush: Brothers Bristles Silver Surfer
Lather: PAA Oubliette
Aftershave: PAA Oubliette
Additional Care:

Beautiful Shavemac!

Thank you and I have to concur with you. This is, possibly, the most beautiful D-01 2-Band Bulb knot that I have ever seen, and used. It is an enormous knot and I have come to realize, over the years, that Bernd  offers the best knots that you can buy. They are spectacular and the fact you can customize the knots and handles is unparalleled.  Shy

I just bought a unique bulb, albeit much smaller than the brushes you’re used to. I’m looking forward to trying it!

Prep: Warm Shower-Maggard London Barbershop (1st try)
Soap: Chiseled Face Cedar & Spice
Razor: Gillette “Black Beauty” Super Adjustable

Brush: Knotsinyourhead/Whipped Dog Silvertip-20mmx48mm

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber today. 20 seconds to load the Knotsinyourhead/Whipped Dog Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Black Beauty. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber aftershave.
