Wonderful shave this morning with a $5 razor. The DeFitch double edge razor. Has a nice heft to it and the blade had no alignment issues like the previous DeFitch model.

Haven't used the TOBS Grapefruit in a while, I'm very glad I did. Easy thick and slick lather with a great scent. The DeFitch is a very mild razor, even more so than the PreWar Tech in my den. None the less, with a simple 2 pass shave (XTG, ATG, but not on the neck) I ended in a very nice BBS shave. It is 5 o'clock now and the face is still very smooth (I shaved at 6:30 am). I'm glad the shave was so mild though, yesterday I tried the GEM pushbutton, and it being so light I used too much pressure and pretty much destroyed my neck, but feels much better now.
