A rainy day,but a day off duty,so deeds done in me garden and I love rain,as do the roses.Inspirering so much,until me noticed that I had run dry out of me Trumpers rose...time to find a new rose soap?...Suggestions are welcome...



Brush - well
Soap - As me Trumpers rose had run dry,me went for figs and subtles as close to gardens as I could,in an yet too less used Bathhouse soap.Actually a great one
Razor - EJ89 head on a sturdy handle of non momorable origins
Blade - feather
Aftershave - homemade rosewater,messed with some homebrewed alcohol

Five diff smiles,five diff roses,five diff suggestions....please hit me lads....and take care with days hitting you in the best of ways all of you

Have you tried Dirty Prose by Catie's Bubbles?

No,I have'nt Inna...is it a prominent rose as the trumpers one?.I don't have much experience in trying outs when it comes to that,so that why me threw this out.The thing me liked in the Trumpers was,the subtle but yet notioned rose "flavour"...a few other me have tested ofcourse,but I don't like a sniff to be showed up me snout if you know what I mean,as I know you are.So,I sure take a look at Catie's...Thanks mate

I have a love/hate relationship with rose. While I love the fragrance, so many rose-centric frags give me a headache despite the fact that my nose likes them. Rose can easily become cloying, too. Catie's Bubbles' Dirty Prose is what you would expect from the name. The rose is mitigated heavily with vetiver, and bolstered by geranium and sandalwood. There are elements of grapefruit and patchouli for a peculiar but tame sweetness, and even a little smoke in the dry down by way of cade. It was a reddit r/wetshaving exlcusive, but I'm sure you can find a set if you're really interested.

Now..I AM LISTENING......Me myself don't like "perfumed" roses either...the subtle sting of a rainy august day walking pass a rose garden yes.So,yes were on the same page there.I love yer detailed descriptions of options,and know that me will look into all of them.Dirty prose it is...THANK YOU "INNA"

+1 to 120inna55.  The composition is lovely Tolje!

Also, you both might want to try Lisa's Somali Rose, which she describes as a "super subtle rose with soft chocolate, sandalwood, anise, musk and a twist of green moss. (fragrance oil blend)".  FWIW it is a top-tier soap in my book, and I love the scent too.
