Ha, I see what you did there lol.  I wouldn't send it back though.  The scent of anise is there to me, but it is blended with others that make it usable for me without sending it back.  YOU'RE NEXT buddy.  That's a promise from me. Smile
I may have misinterpreted that you didn't like because of the anise.

Not my favorite, but not a deal breaker. It is blended pretty well. My wife says she smells no anise, but she is WRONG (See I can say that out loud here because she doesn't post here lol).

Well after trying them both I can see why people like them so much. I guess the only other, "Expensive," soap I currently own is Saponificio Varesino (I've tried MdC and a bunch of others, but traded/sold them). Are they better than SV? Maybe, but the differences in performance are so small to me with all of these. I'm sure in six months I will see another post saying, "No, you have to try THIS one," lol. Then six months after that the same thing as the world turns in wet shaving.

I would recommend either brand soap base wise though. The scents are a whole different argument and way too much YMMV for me to even comment on. Honestly I have about ten soaps that I'm just going to PIF that are collecting dust (Soap Commander, Caties Bubbles LTV, etc.). It's time for a purge.....
