I'd love to know the answer to this as well.

I purchased the Wolfman from another member here, and per his words, he requested from James the razor be a blend of the satin and mirror finish. I haven’t had a full satin finished razor so I cannot attest to how it differs to that, but those were his words as the original owner of the razor. 

I'm not a potential buyer, but I bet it would be helpful if you took some good pics of the razor by itself so people can see the finish. I think most people are reading quickly and assuming there is a mix of polished and brushed parts (which you have explained, but still).
