So hear is a brush I got a few years ago on a trade unfortunately I don't know the brand of this brush but I have spoken to a friend in the community who knows alot about older brushes and hear are the comments I got,
'That looks more like a Rooney for me'
Back to the 70s or 80s Rooney
I don't think that Simpson under David Carter released any butterscotch handle
If it's a Simpson is pre 1990s
Possibly early 80s , being a Chubby 2 in super badger
But it is not Somerset Simpson ,
Is pre Somerset (David Carter) era , possibly 80s or a Rooney from the 70s.
Obviously there no way for me to tell for certain, the hair on this is wonderful and reminds me of vintage plisson however the loft is very high I did plan to send this to dogwood who was going to set the hair in another Handel with a lower loft but his no longer in business at this time so now deciding to sell.

Hello so unfortunately I do not know the exact measurements, however I have compared it to my 28 mm declarations and the knot size looks very similar, I have tried to measure the loft for you and it seems it's around 65mm, hope this helps
