Sold Reduced | Vintage 70’s/80’s size 18 Plisson HMW on Blonde horn handle

Greetings DFS,

On the move once again is the flawless  Vintage size 18 (26x62) Plisson 2 band High Mountain White on genuine blonde horn.
This piece is truly unique. it’s filled with the rarest, and whitest hair I’ve ever seen and used, combining ultra-softness and strength. Hard to tell in photos but the darker band is an auburn color not the darker brown like the typical 2 bands. Particularly suitable for sensitive skin.

It’s in pristine condition and has been meticulously cared for. Treated with Neats foot oil after every use and Ren wax on occasion. The decal and lettering is intact but have slightly faded due to its age.

I enjoy using this brush thoroughly but with recent acquisitions (damn you declarations) it’s become more of a museum display piece. It should be used and enjoyed by one of the fine members here.

Just for my education, on which part of the brush are these two products applied?

The horn handle is treated with the oil to condition and keep it from drying out. Wax also applied sporadically to prevent water absorption.
