Can anyone advise as the difference between Simpsons’ Manchurian and 2 band Silvertip?

While not a brush expert, have both and been using for about a year.  Silvertip has the luxuriating gel tip feel everybody raving about these days in the Declaration Grooming B1,5,6 &9B; the Mozingo especially ZT2 and Varlets.  It has much more luxuriating feel than scrub.  The Manchurian has tips that are soft but not AS soft as the Silver Tip, it has more scrub to exfoliate but not in an irritating way.  What it comes down to is do you want a cloud pillow or a little bit of soft scrub on your face.  BOTH are ideal - I am partial to Manchurian but yet love SilverTip

BTW, while loving the Chubby 2 as one of my favourite families of brushes of any manufacturer/artisan, the Duke 3 is WAY underrated - truly a great brush in any knot but especially Manchurian and 2 Band silvertip - this is a fantastic buy even if butterscotch not my preferred colour.

Agreed. The Duke 3 is very underrated. The Duke has been sold pending funds. The M7 remains; don't pass up on this classic brush!
