Offered is a beautiful Simpson brush from the renowned Somerset era, a Chubby 3 'Extra Super' (Manchurian) brush. It is extremely rare, one of only two ever made, I believe. The knot is 30mm diameter, with a 60mm loft. It has enough backbone for building lather with hard soaps but extremely soft, natural white hair tips. The hair reminds me of the softness of a vintage Plisson HMW but with more density and backbone. Comes in original box. I am asking $600 via PayPal shipped CONUS. No trade offers, please. SOLD
