Here for sale is the best shaving brush ever made.  This is a beautiful, vintage Rooney Finest shaving brush with a faux ebony handle, in near mint condition.  It is Style 3 Size 2, the perfect size, neither too big nor too small for any hand.  It has been maintained with loving care and presents as new.  This brush is ideal for face or bowl lathering, working well with hard triple milled soaps, artisan soaps, and creams, and making the most luxurious lather possible.  It has perfect medium backbone and ultra soft tips that feel pillow soft on the face, with just a hint of desirable "scritch."

These brushes have a virtually unique badger hair which was available only for short time and has never been available since.  It is very densely packed in the knot and has very long white tips.  This brush is one of the most desirable long-loft models, with a 24mm diameter knot that has a 60mm loft.  The silver lettering on the handle is very crisp and clear.

The brush has been thoroughly cleaned and is from a smoke & pet free environment.  It does not shed and has no flaws, defects, or damage.  It includes the original box and insert from when it was purchased directly from Lee Sabini at Rooney.

$675 shipped CONUS. SOLD

I'm not a brush guy, though am guessing a fair amount of the cost is the collectors value. Usually, the value of collector's items increase in value based on condition and that one looks mighty nice.
