So I was responding to another thread that asked what my favorite soap was and it occurred to me that those are soaps for use at home.

Traveling, however, is a totally different ballgame.

So how about it gents (and ladies if that's how you prefer to be identified)? What's your go to TRAVEL soap?

For me it's a good ole palmolive stick or a tub of Barrister_N_Mann LPC. And if it's an extended trip I'll bring along a tin of Dr Dittmer (a rather underrated soap IMO).

Depends how long I am gone for. If it is requiring one day, I may bring a puck or could do a shave stick. But chances are I will bring something that has good enough post shaves that I can get away with bringing less aftershave products.

Last time I traveled, it was Mike's Hungarian Lavender, but before that was Mystic Water and Barrister and Mann. I could take SV with me as well.

I take a La Toja stick with me. Excellent soap, I have plenty of them in my stock. Of course, it depends on where I'm going. If I travel by my car, I just take any soap I like that comes in a plastic container.

I bring whatever soap I feel like using. It's not like a tub of soap takes up a whole lot of space so I'm not concerned about that. I rarely fly anywhere so I don't have to worry about bags getting lost. I could understand not wanting to lose an unobtainium or rare soap though, so if I was flying, I probably wouldn't bring one of those.

Whichever tube of cream has least left in it. La Toja, at the moment...

+1 I did start off bringing Mystic Waters to avoid having to carry any post shave products, but I found that the water at my destination is so unpredictable and I had trouble lathering at times. Life's too short for bad shaves so I leave MW at home now.

I'm paranoid so I keep my shaving supplies (minus blades) with me on my carry on. =p

I brought creams before, but then I got hassle from TSA once so now I don't bother.

Right, I'd only do that if the tube was down to an inch or two. Otherwise I squeeze it into a sample-size tub.

No change for me either at home or vacationing; Mystic Water in shave-stick form. Shy
