Thought it might be nice to have a woody/smokey scented shave soap and was hoping to get some recommendations. Not looking for something overwhelming but definitely something smokey.

Declaration/L&L Grooming Darkfall is both an outstanding soap and a truly great scent.

Tallow + Steel‘s Morocco was quite smoky in the first iteration (which I have). In later production, some of the other aspects of the scent have apparently been emphasized more. I would venture to guess that it’s still smoky to some degree.

The MLS Unforgiven soap is pretty good for smokey but not over the top like darkfall or Texas on Fire.

That's good to know the smoke was toned down on Morocco. I really liked the scent profiles but it was way too smokey when I first smelled it. Maybe I'll go back and smell again I like what Ryan puts out.

Wow, I have Darkfall and don't really remember a smokey scent. Will have to check when I get home

From Scott’s website... Birch tar adds a slight smokiness that represents the ever-present smell of burning leaves that heralds the arrival of autumn in Georgia.. From my perspective, it’s the perfect description.

GD - After the Fire is an odd mix of smoke and barbershop. I like it, but it is odd.
Wholly Kaw Cuero Oscuro is a great smoky leather. Quite a strong scent. I just ordered the splash to go with the soap.

I just received a tub of The Holy Black's Mountain Man soap and its a lightly smoky forrest scent. Nice, That Brings THBs smokey scents to 3, Mountain Man, Sandalwood Smoke and Cracklin Rosie. Stefan does smoke well.
