All of those specific allergies respond quite well to immunotherapy (allergy shots), with significant improvement usually seen within 3 months.

the allergist wants to see if my symptoms can be controlled with OTC meds first before deciding to do more sensitive testing and/or looking at different treatment options. I'll check back with them in a few months if things get out of hand.

thanks! I'm hoping to at least find out a diagnosis and work on a treatment plan from there..
