My favorite scent was Queen Charlotte Soaps. Unfortunately, they are no more.

I like my Fougere on the greener end of the spectrum and less on the citrus end. I haven't yet convinced myself to spend the money on MdC. I'm sure it's very good, but I'm looking for something less expensive. I've been eyeing Valobra, but I get the impression that it's a subtle scent.

Any thoughts on a good Fougere soap or cream?

Thanks

B&M beaudelaire. You might be able to find it on B/S/T.

QCS described its scent as a floral fougere. My notes say I liked that scent.  TOBS Jerymn st is also a floral, or at least I thought so.  TTFFC Fougere is more green and cologne type. You can get Jerymn St in a tube instead of a full tub. You can also get TTFFC samples. I would go to Maggards and sample all their fougeres to see what you like. You can also get samples, including MdC Fougere at Old Towne https://www.shoppesatstats.com/product/s...-creams-2/

Wholly Kaw makes a great smelling fougere and their tallow soaps are outstanding.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions!

I checked LA Shaving Co and they are currently out of stock.
I totally forgot about Jermyn St. and will have to revisit it. I remember it was cologne like...which I don't mind.
I'm a little hesitant to try B&M only because I just received a tub of Seville and want to try something new.
Wholly Kaw sounds interesting. I may have to look more into it.

Thanks!

I like Valobra.

Saponificio Varesino Felce is another. It's a bit more of a cologne type to me. I dig it.

I also like Wickham Soap Co. 1912 Irish Fern. To my unsophisticated nose it is very similar to the discontinued Penhaligan's English Fern.

MLS version is very green to my nose. I also enjoy the Chatilion Lux aftershave-again very green. P.S. My wife likes both of these Smile

If you like green, try Tiki Bar Fougere. It's described as herbaceous, green and woody ... and that nails it. You won't get any citrus or cologne notes to take the edge off - it's a potent scent.
