I wanted an inexpensive travel razor that I could leave at a frequent vacation spot. The Schone razor is said to be brass and made in Italy. $27 on Amazon, may be a bit cheaper elsewhere.

Tried it tonight and am more than pleasantly surprised. Excellent shave. The L&L Trismegistus was a factor for sure, but the Schone was a smooth and easy shaver. BBS was no problem. Highly recommended.

I have the silver model. It's one of my favorite DE razors.

Looks exactly the same as the Fatip Grande. I wonder how the shaves compare.

I would think the shave would be the same, It's made by Fatip for Schöne. I think one of the two has more teeth than the other.

I believe the Shone has a less number of teeth (11) which are also wider compared to the Fatip's teeth (13).

Returning Wet Shaver
I always thought the Schone was a great looking razor. I think I read somewhere that the handle threading is non-standard so I passed. I have seen a few go for as low as $15 in some auctions. Like the look.

Yeah, pretty sure only the handle it comes with (or other Fatip handles) will work with it.

If you have a collection of vintage razors you'll find some that fit. Some modern as well.
