Well, Rockwell finally did it. Limited T2 in SS. Just 500 have been made for this release. Link below that gives a nice detailed explanation and specifics on this razor. $250US isn't cheap but, for those that backed previous Rockwell razor launched, there is a discount code for an additional $50US in savings that brings it down to $199US.

Good on Rockwell and hoping this release is a success for them going further in the competitive field of higher end alloyed/luxury razor division. A bit industrial looking but, not bad at all. Not in on this release as I have some financial obligations to be met first and I'm on for acquiring a razor that has my attention for some time now. That razor is first before any other....

200.00 seems very high. With that said I do love my Rockwell 6s.
What are some recommendations for a TTO razor that won't break the bank?

Plenty of folks have forked over $250 for a Rex Ambassador, and it's not TTO.    I have a T2, and I like the Ambassador better.    I still think there is a market for this razor, though.

Loved my 6S when I had it... Hmmm...kinda used to lighter Ti (and SS Blackland Vector + ti handle) razors for a bit now, but I might get this. Rockwell has a decent return policy (Blackland'esque), right?

200 is a fair price for SS 316 in this quality of adjustable razor, R&D and manufacturing is a big investment and it is a limited edition of only 500 items.
I  cannot afford the car of my dreams but I can certainly shave with the best razor in the world!

How many razors can you use at one time?

$250 is fair market value, given the MIM investment. Sigh. I'll have to decide what to move, as I'm trying to reduce the hoard, ah, "collection".

For those that supported previous releases the code they sent is “Backer” but, not 100% sure it will work for anyone else. Give it a try and see if the discount is applied in checkout right before remitting payment. Good luck…

I agree. They might be late to the game by a few years considering the competition has a leg up on them by quite a bit (Rocnel, Rex, Taiga & Tatara) in the luxury/high end alloy field but, price wise it might still be a bargain the way prices for these razors are heading. All just speculation, of course…

An enjoyable and incident free shave with the Rockwell T2-SS. Paired it with a fresh Feather blade and set it on #6 and finished it 3 passes later at about #4.5 or thereabouts. A very smooth BBS finish and feel with the T2 & Feather pairing. The Ethos Bergamotto soap provided excellent protection and plenty of glide to help the T2 glide along the skin with ease and comfort.

The T2-SS is a really nice shaver. Could it use a bit more blade feel to up the efficiency factor for my tastes? Yes but, as it stands the T2-SS is very capable of delivering satisfyingly good shaves without much drama and it works well enough for me. No, it’s not a Sailor or Taiga nor an Ambassador or the recently released Osprey. But, it does share the quality alloy components of the previously mentioned razors and so far that quality alloy and construction have proven to be well executed by Rockwell in my estimation.

Great shaves to all….
