My sole reason for commenting re the raffle was not to push for an alternative to auctioning; rather, it was simply to point out we were mislabeling an auction as a raffle intending no more nor less

I have no problems buying a $5 raffle ticket and hoping I do not win.

I am not sure how to determine if raffle or auction will be the most profitable.  The current auction/raffle format for DFS is easy to administrate.

the current format is definitely easier to administrate, but I also recognize that some people might be willing to buy some 'slots' at $10-15/slot with a chance to win rather than committing $100+ on its own...we have a few more razors to raffle off after these so I'll definitely consider it.

PS: Normally I say "there are no wrong answers". However, i would have bid on the red Seygus if sold alone.

I thought of running that separately but didn't think it'd fetch enough money to sell on its own.

Since the DFS random drawing for the blue Seygus drawing, I have been waiting to bid on the red Seygus.
In case your forgot, I thought the DFS drawing entries should have ended at midnight Spain time as razor made in Spain. I did not win !
