Great post and thanks for taking the time to write it. Couldn't have said it better myself and I agree with all of your points.

I noticed one of the most negative posters in this thread joined just prior to posting about this razor, and has 11 total posts--10 of which are in this thread. So it's a good example that some people have an axe to grind and are just trying to stir up trouble. A great way to keep the conversation civil is to not take the bait and don't feed the trolls if it's obvious that's what is going on.

I'm no troll. I've no axe to grind. My 10 "negative" posts could have been limited to 1 or 2. Demonstrably false statements made by 1 manufacturer against 3 or 4 others should not be tolerated by the community. Period. You may disagree with the tone of the posts. You may disagree with the quantity of posts but if you disagree with the point, shame on you.

Posting Freak
I don't know if you read the entire post LOOT  the gist of it is, by all means make your point assuming its valid but do it respectfully.  The tone and of course, the intent IS important and if the tone is rude or offensive then regardless of the validity of the point there is a problem.  Whether the merchant/artisan agrees or acknowledges your point is not your concern, you have no control over that.  Make your point, be respectful and move on.  Thats it, thats all.

In writing my thoughts in the OP I knew there was a possibility of this happening but going into it we hope that it doesn’t. People are definitely entitled to their opinion based on what has been presented to them, but should it not be to your liking there is a certain manner in which one should present it...with respect.

That being said, I don’t think we should beat a dead horse and move on as in my eyes everything has been addressed and made right by the man himself in terms of the product and what was said.

Of course I read your post. Your point was not lost on me, sir. Neither was the point in the 2 PMs you guys sent.

I moved on 11 days ago with Matt's clarification, you chose to resurrect with a backhanded slap that I chose to ignore. If you notice, I didn't even reply to your post. There was no need. I did reply to some guy calling me a troll.

BTW...I can only read your PMs in the e-mail alerts. I can't read or reply to them here due to board settings. I'd really rather not have this conversation with you in public, but I have no choice. I only respond now because in this post, you called me out by name.
