I have had my Rex for quite some time now. For the first time I used a feather blade and dialed it down to 4. What a great smooth and comfortable shave. BBS going WTG then XTG. I normally use a Polsilver at 5.5 and never got this good of a shave. For what it’s worth, I recommend trying a feather but dial down the level.

I still haven't tried a Feather in mine yet. I've only tried Polsilver since buying. I used a Bluebird hi-stainless on my last shave. I will have to give the Feather a go.

I think this one started a while back and has been completed. That being said if Matt were to do it again I'd be in as well.
yep, this thread was started almost a year ago....definitely done by now.

I feel it is my duty to come back here and say that I put a feather in this thing (but really any blade works) and WOW, $180 for this one I feel was an absolute STEAL. Glad I bought it and I would pay $250 for it knowing what I know now. I haven't used it for a few months, but this is one of those, "I could sell every other razor I own," type of razors, even though you all know dayum well I won't get rid of what I have. Again, nice job Razor Emporium
