I have had my Rex for quite some time now. For the first time I used a feather blade and dialed it down to 4. What a great smooth and comfortable shave. BBS going WTG then XTG. I normally use a Polsilver at 5.5 and never got this good of a shave. For what it’s worth, I recommend trying a feather but dial down the level.

I still haven't tried a Feather in mine yet. I've only tried Polsilver since buying. I used a Bluebird hi-stainless on my last shave. I will have to give the Feather a go.

Never put a feather in mine also. We'll see how it goes and will use one the next time and report back.

Tried the feather in my Rex again to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. 2 days worth of beard and once again 3 pass BBS and smooth as silk. I had thought about selling it but now it’s a keeper

I think this one started a while back and has been completed. That being said if Matt were to do it again I'd be in as well.

I feel it is my duty to come back here and say that I put a feather in this thing (but really any blade works) and WOW, $180 for this one I feel was an absolute STEAL. Glad I bought it and I would pay $250 for it knowing what I know now. I haven't used it for a few months, but this is one of those, "I could sell every other razor I own," type of razors, even though you all know dayum well I won't get rid of what I have. Smile Again, nice job Razor Emporium
