I have had the DeLuxeShaving Retro Deluxe brush for some time now and thought I would post some thoughts.

It is a 24mm synthetic knot, set in a two piece resin handle. The handle itself is a great combination of what I would call Bianchi green and black- a nice nod to the '50s. Very pleasant handle shape, the finish also is very "grippy" which I like a great deal. The loft is listed at 50mm, less than some of the others in this category, however the brush itself feels more luxurious than some of my other 24mm synthetic knots.

Sufficient backbone but a very, very soft face feel and generates an abundance of lather as you would expect. I do face lather 100% but feel that it would also lend itself readily for bowl lathering.

Maintenance is a breeze as with other synthetics and it both dries quickly and rinses easily.

For $23 USD I am very happy to have this in the rotation- great performance and the aesthetic has a very cool, retro vibe. Always happy to answer any questions and I did purchase this brush, having no affiliation with Deluxe other than as a pleased consumer.

Thanks celestino ! I very nearly left my SOTD today color but the cell doesn't really do a great job so converted to B&W. It is a very cool synthetic brush though and I do love those retro colors. Anthony at DeLuxeShaving did a great job IMHO.

Glad you like the brush Kevin!

I'm a huge Bianchi fan and that did play into the colour selection. In my opinion, Celeste and black look great together.

My 2nd ever road bike was a Bianchi with Campy components, it forever converted me to Campagnolo gruppos. That colour holds great memories for me. I also always hoped I'd one day find a Bianchi motorcycle for sale, hasn't happened yet though.......

The brush looks great and I have no doubt that Anthony has done his homework before releasing it.

It is a beautiful brush. I almost went for the 30mm Silvertip, but it was going to be too big for my face. I may get this 24mm. What kind of knot is it? A la Plisson, Nathan Clark, etc?

Thanks Kevin!

That is a sweet color and that handle looks like a nice shape to hold. Does it have a nice weight to it?

I was always a Shimano guy [my wife actually worked for Shimano for 8 years!]  but the classics are classic for a reason and this definitely gives a nod to that retro Euro aesthetic in my opinion. Love it.

Hector [hrfdez], I don't know the specific knot but it feels similar to the Plissofts I have used. The brush has plenty of backbone but a slightly softer face feel than the Plissofts. To me, it also feels a little larger than 24mm in use which I very much like. No significant glue bump in mine either. I have been using this brush a lot lately and it never disappoints.

Jeff [wyze0ne], the handle is very comfortable and the finish is a bit "grippy". I have normal size mitts and it offers a great feel and heft.

All my Bianchi's have had Campagnolo gruppos. There is just something magical about Campy. Quality stuff.

Thanks for the compliment!
