Anyone have suggestions on razors that shave similarly to a Rockwell 6s on plate 5 or 6?

I get great shaves, and the neutral or slightly negative blade exposure of the 6s is super easy for me to use without nics or cuts.  However, the head is just monstrously large....which annoys me.  I would love a slimmer head, that shaved as nice.  Any thoughts?

The 6s on Plate 5 is a daily driver for me and I would say you'll really like the Yates Precision M Plate and possibly even the H Plate YatesPrecision https://yatesprecision.com/

If you like the plate 6 depends on how much you want to pay buy the Karve E SB or Yates H.

Yates Hybrid gives longer smoother shaves than Rockwell plate 6.

Plate H has same blade feel as plate 6 but even longer shaves.

Check out the Henson razor as well. Smooth and efficient and foolproof. More so than Rockwell.

I have tried some other razors like the Rex Ambassador, HLS Taiga Gamechanger. 84 sb and Jaws.
The Gamechanger 84 sb is quite nice. But.. After trying all those razors i return to the Rockwell every time.

I agree 100% with this!

The Rockwell plate 5 is my favorite as well. Really one of the best razors I own to be honest.

And yes, the the Yates is a must buy. Incredible razor.

I will add that the Razorock BBS is worth a look. It reminds me of the Rockwell when using it.

I agree about the head size.  I was surprised at how big it was when I first got it but after using it and experiencing the wonderful shaves it gives I got over it and its become my daily shaver.  I used it yesterday with a RazoRock titanium halo handle which is lighter than the stock Rockwell handle but not as light as aluminum.  I liked it.  It also almost matches the colour.  I haven't found another razor that shaves like it.  I haven't tried the Yates but to say its as smooth as Rockwell on plate 6?  Plate 6 is the most aggressive plate Rockwell has and in my experience it shaves similar to my Wolfman WR1 and its pretty aggressive.

I want to love my Rex. The Rockwell is just smoother.

Following on this, my 5 plate is similar to a Karve D SB, though there's ever so slightly more blade feel (balanced by sensation of control given tight blade clamping) with the Karve.
