Do you mean if it was that aggressive? It isn’t. Some people wish it was much more aggressive. I suspect the majority will be thrilled just the way it is. It is more aggressive than the Mamba though.

Yeah it is NOT an aggressive razor. I would say a 4/5 out of 10. Just my opinion though.

So far I found it to be more aggressive than my Merkur 34C and Edwin Jagger DE89, if that helps. It is very comfortable and efficient though.

I guess I should have been more clear. I was thinking of the 2011 R41 when I said that it would be too aggressive, as I thought it was a beast. The 2013 was not so aggressive, but it was/is still aggressive imho... I like the smoothness, but it needs more aggressiveness for me...

Yeah if you are into aggressive razors I would wait for other plates. It is a very smooth shaver though and a keeper for me.

First shave today with 3 day beard growth. Fresh pol silver and Czech and speake soap. Really comfortable shave. Wanted a bit for efficiently. Virtually no blade feel. Very good quality for a sub $70 SS razor. Will need a few more shaves with this to really get a feel for this razor.

Let us know what you think. I would like a more aggressive plate also, but like what I have so far in the GC better than the mamba and baby smooth.

My Ti Baby Smooth shaves so much better for me it’s crazy. True BBS shave with no cuts or irritation. IMHO the Ti BS shave is superior to the GC and Mamba.

I totally agree with that. My Ti Baby Smooth blows the GC and Mamba out of the water!!
