Disassemble after every shave, remove the blade, warm water rinse all parts and towel dry (soft cotton or microfiber). After I remove the blade and rinse it, I place it carefully on a towel. I pat dry both sides and carefully replace it in the wrapper. I also Q-Tip the insides of my adjustables from both ends to dry out the inside (Progress and Rex) and on the holes and crannies in each razor. Every several months, I use a small dental proxabrush cleaner (Den Tek or GUM) which are fabulous for removing any surface calcium or soap build-up (brushes are plastic and will not harm metal surfaces). All of my razors are stored in a leather case, hard case or special case (Rockwell 6C and plates are in an HP34 calculator case!). All of my razors look as new as the day they arrived.
