I sent them an e-mail asking to compare their mid-aggressive plate to a Timeless, Blackbird, or a Charcoal goods. Let you know when I get an answer. Shane is your blackbird patented?

What's "mild aggressive" supposed to mean? Isn't that an oxymoron?

wow..every time I see another overrated and overpriced DE razor hit the market the more I appreciate Rockwell, RazorRock, Merkur, Muhle, Ikon, and others that are manufacturing fantastic razors at a realistic prices.

Just add this company along with Wolfman, Charcoal, ATT, Timeless, and Blacklbird to the list of industries most overrated and overpriced razors.

No Problem and sorry just being completely honest. Personally I can afford all of these companies razors, but why pay twice the amount for a razor that another razor can provide the same results.

What can your $225 Blackbird DE razor do that is so different than a $50 Rockwell 6C or $100 6S or Merkur or any of the RazoRock line up? If you can provide me with some significant advantage besides someones review on the razor than I will look into trying it.

Frankly, I’m flattered to be in the company of the great shaving brands you consider overrated so no need to apologize. We’ll also be hitting a more budget-friendly price point within a couple months so maybe it will be more your style then.

You make a valid point.

Consider for a moment that some ppl drive a Mercedes while others drive Hyundai - your argument is that they both get you to your destination. However, I believe there are many differences in the journey of our two drivers.
I own the razors you mention in both categories & (speaking only for myself) I can tell you the Blackbird is one of the most efficient razors on the market. Like nearly one pass BBS efficient! While at the same time being comfortable on the face. To me, it provides a unique experience. Worth the price of admission.

Like everything in the shaving world YMMV.

Save us all some time and typing and buy yourself a Timeless razor or any other razor that will allow you to return it if you aren't satisfied. You'll either understand what all the fuss is about or you'll go back to using whatever razor you shave with.
