The Gibbs on N shaves me with just about the right efficiency, which I would compare to the REX on the highest setting. The 6S@6 is not efficient enough for me and all those on a feather.

I start my shave on setting 5 when I want a 2 pass BBS or Start on 5 for the first pass and knock it down to 3 when I'm looking for a very nice DFS again in 2 passes with no touch ups,
My favorite adjustable.
Had to clean the spring on one of mine but it cleaned up real eazy,

Well my so far my opinion hasn't changed regarding the razor, its very nice shaver that performs very good and looks nice. I honestly have no clue how for some the plastic handle breaks because it looks and feels very sturdy to be breakable only by usage, maybe if the razor is dropped then its possible.

As of now ordered the springs just in case and if they fit as others claim they do then I rather have a brand new fresh spring. I for the life of me couldn't find a small size red bobbin, there were some red ones but those were way over sized and it would look like a zit on the dial about to pop out! lol So I settled with purple one that's smaller and sort of somewhat matches the red color on the numbers dial. Its the smallest bobbin I could find and yet it couldn't fit fully inside the opening so it protrudes about 3/4 of the bobbin, no big deal I think it looks interesting. When the springs come in I will do the last modification, here are few pics of the razor

Corrosion can in time prevent the mechanism from turning. The handle will then routinely crack when turning is forced .
