This is a shavemac Pure 23x45 in a Tortoise 386.  It started life with a taller floppy loft so the knot was steamed out and reset at 45mm.  It has leaped off the shelf onto the tile floor a few times in an attempt to escape unsuccessfully the crowded shelf space.  You can see the fractures from the efforts if you look closely.  The bulbs get more use...

Any interest?  It will ship on Monday. I'll PM the tracking number then.  (If more than one person is interested then the first person to correctly guess what model Stihl is in the avatar gets it. Hint it's old and has a 10mm wrist pin.)

If you haven't tried a shavemac or Simpson Pure brush you may be surprised... or not...

An excellent PIF! Shavemac Pure is a superb grade and does not have the tips clipped like some pure grades from lesser brands have.

Not in but thanks for doing this. While not a model # it does look like a chainsaw to me.

That did it. I'd have guesses 084 but 10mm is 044. Why that saw? You cutting a lot of trees? What part of Oregon are you in?

044 it is. Back in my cruiser days the company supplied 'a good saw' for getting to the job or for getting home, so the local shop set me up with what the cutters were using. Wide eyed I packed this thing out to the truck and proceeded to give it a pampered life whittling up 5 or so cords of firewood a year. Sounds like a cross between a '71 Hemi 'Cuda and a ticked off hornet when fired up.

Do you want the brush?
