After great sleuthing and a simple email, I received the profile for this sensuous soap several have recently bought or inquired about.

OPENING NOTE: CITRUS rounded by WOODY CEDAR, JUICY PLUM and VIOLET LEAVES finishing with LEATHER and TOBACCO

All this in a readily lathered ( I don't want my soap exploding into mounds) hard milled puck in aluminum container averaging @ $16

Thanks for sharing. Based on comments from this community, I bought some PdP 63 and Haslinger, which arrived today.

Love the scent of the PdP 63!

Their standard scent is also a nice light citrus/floral and may be bought for $11

Pre 63 is excellent, I wish they had an aftershave splash. What a beautiful, warm scent.

Just get the 63 and pass on the original white label tin. Performance are same but 63 has a complex epic scent.

I loved the scent of no.63, but unfortunately something in it didn't agree with my skin. I still like and enjoy the original PdP and it's light sage scent. PdP is a really good performing shaving soap and being quad milled will last forever at an insanely reasonable price.

Rob, every so often a PdP product seems to 'zing' my face. I experienced this twice with the floral scent upon first use of new pucks. I just let them age open a few weeks. I imagine it's very fresh product. I almost feel sad watching their logo disappear in use. They used to sell a aluminum body soap tin with it I foolishly never bought.

Thanks, KAV! I should try to let it air out for a little while to see if that remedies the issue. It does smell great!

You will find a ready market if it doesn't work out.
